The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Wednesday was a mediocre 85-100-115 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose two points to 976. Trent Mell's First Cobalt Corp. (FCC) was a busy trader again today as it closed unchanged at 30 cents on 4.46 million shares. First Cobalt, which hopes to have its refurbished and expanded cobalt refinery in Northeastern Ontario running by mid-2022, has moved little but traded over 40 million shares since the start of June.

Grenville Thomas and Ken Armstrong's North Arrow Minerals Inc. (NAR), unchanged at 12.5 cents on 56,000 shares, is cashed up and getting set to roll at its Loki project, south of Lac de Gras in the Northwest Territories. Mr. Armstrong, president and chief executive officer, says that the company will use a reverse-circulation drill to test gravity targets in the northern area of the project, features that he and his crew believe are potential bedrock kimberlite sources for indicator minerals that explorers have chased for decades, without success.
