The TSX Venture Exchange closed up 6.27 points to 742.64 Monday. There are 188 capital pool shells listed on the TSX-V and the NEX, and 101 of them have qualifying transactions in progress. Of the 101 QTs, 34 are mining deals; 22 are tech deals (including e-commerce, software development and two cryptocurrency deals); 15 are medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech deals; seven are cannabis deals; and six are real estate deals.

Among the 34 shells working on mining QTs is Anton Drescher's Lamaska Capital Corp. (LCC: halted), which plans to acquire TinOne Resources Corp. The shell will roll back 1 for 2, leaving it with 2.25 million shares issued, then issue 27,643,201 shares to TinOne's shareholders.

Earlier this year, TinOne was billing itself as a tin explorer. It was optimistic about the "electric vehicle applications of tin." It has since replaced its chief executive officer, and now it plans to focus on gold. Its main properties are the Panama gold property in Tasmania, Australia, and the Otago gold property in New Zealand. We should learn more about these properties when the shell submits a QT filing statement. Although TinOne now plans to focus on gold, it says it will continue to conduct "low-level" tin exploration in Australia.
