MADEIRA ANNOUNCES AGM RESULTS

On completion of Madeira Minerals Ltd.'s special meeting of shareholders, held Aug. 15, all the resolutions were passed by the requisite majority of votes.

As noted in the press release of July 19, 2019, the company was seeking approval for its qualifying transaction by its shareholders along with approval of a name change.

With the approval having been achieved, the company will continue with the completion of the private placement, as well as to a number of closing conditions, including exchange conditions. Subject to satisfaction or waiver of all necessary closing conditions, the company currently expects to close the qualifying transaction in late September, 2019.
