HTC PURENERGY INC. (DBA "HTC PURENERGY") ANNOUNCES PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Conditional upon TSX Venture Exchange Inc. approval, HTC Purenergy Inc. will issue 2,331,819 units at a price of 11 cents per unit, for the gross proceeds of $256,500. These units will be issued to directors of the corporation. Each unit will consist of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share of HTC at 15 cents per common share for a period of five years after the date of issuance. The private placement is a non-brokered private placement. Currently HTC has 30,309,195 common shares issued and outstanding.

Proceeds of the private placement will be used for business development, including commercialization of HTC's patented Delta Reclaimer product offer and general corporate purposes.
