James Greig and John Williamson's Benchmark Metals Inc. (BNCH), up 5.5 cents to 42 cents on 2.22 million shares, has received assays of up to 132.5 grams of gold and 8,650 grams of silver per tonne over 0.9 metre from the Phoenix zone at its Lawyers project in northwestern British Columbia. The hit, from the first hole of a 2019 drill program, occurred at a depth of 131 metres, within an otherwise weakly mineralized zone spanning 2.87 metres. This is the first of three holes drilled this year in the Phoenix zone, which also received seven holes last year.
