New York spot gold gained $3.90 to $1,287.50 on Tuesday. The TSX Venture Exchange gained 5.13 points to 793.45 while the TSX Gold Index lost 0.26 point to 201.61. Endeavour Mining Corp. (EDV) led the retreaters, dropping 64 cents to $24.55 on 293,000 shares, while Guyana Goldfields Inc. (GUY) led the advances, adding 29 cents to $4.90 on 1.05 million shares.
Stephen de Jong and George Salamis's Integra Resources Corp. (ITR: $1) has declared its first resource estimate for the DeLamar gold and silver deposit in southwestern Idaho. DeLamar hosts 117.9 million tonnes inferred at 0.41 gram of gold and 24.34 grams of silver per tonne, for a total of 1.6 million ounces of gold and 919 million ounces of silver, which is an equivalent of 2.67 million ounces of gold. DeLamar includes Kinross's old DeLamar mine that produced 1.6 million ounces of gold and 100 million ounces of silver until it closed in 1998 because of low precious metals prices.
